Email me when this record changes
Following this record emails you when it gains a dated entry or its published claims are re-read, and nothing about any other supplier. No topic below is ticked: tick one only if you also want it in the same email.
1 recorded documentation gap also on file, subtracted from the score.
Compiled automatically from the dated observations in this vendor's record. How we evaluate.
Never merged into one number. Some supplier links here are referral links, marked where they appear, which pay Terminus Research when a reader buys. The same terms are open to every supplier in the ledger, apart from the one exception the referral policy page names, participation changes no score, rank, caution, or coverage decision, and a link is not an endorsement.
Voltera Sciences' own COA Library link, along with its shop and two product pages, all served the same locked homepage on the day checked, so no certificate, lot number or laboratory name was reachable behind the 'Voltera Member Access' registration wall. The site describes HPLC testing, endotoxin screening and sterility verification in detail without naming who performs any of it, and a content-management placeholder, '[your recommended temp, e.g. 4C]', sits live in the storage guidance next to a shipping threshold that reads $150 on the header banner and $250 on the shipping policy page. Has anyone registered for the gated catalog and actually reached a real certificate behind it, and does it name a lab?
What the record holds
STATED WINDOW IN DAYS
“typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed”
Free-shipping threshold is stated inconsistently: the header banner reads "over $150" while the shipping policy reads "over $250". Standard Ground $15, Two-Day Priority $25; US only.
Read from this supplier's own pages on 2026-08-23. This publication has never placed an order with any supplier. This row records what is written and measures nothing about what actually happens after an order.
A Trustpilot listing for this supplier was readable on 2026-08-25.
The listing carried no reviews on that date, so it showed no rating.
Terminus read the standing of the listing itself and nothing under it. The reviews behind any figure above were not gathered, read, or checked here, and no reader review on this site feeds that number.
This record is older than the re-read program, so no claim-by-claim accounting exists for it yet.
Dated entries
3 observations on file, recorded 2026-08-23. Newest first, appended and never rewritten.
On certificates: a "COA Library" appears in the main navigation but no certificate is readable by a visitor. https://volterasciences.com/coa-library/, https://volterasciences.com/shop/, https://volterasciences.com/product/vls-3rt/ and https://volterasciences.com/product/ss-31/ all returned HTTP 200 on 2026-08-23 and all four served the same homepage body carrying a catalog lock, with links to /my-account/?catalog_access=login and ?catalog_access=register and the panel text "Voltera Member Access. Unlock Our Complete Catalog. Additional research products are available exclusively to registered customers. Create a free account to access our complete collection." I did not create an account, so no certificate, lot number, purity figure, analysis date or laboratory identity was observable, and all of it is UNVERIFIED. No laboratory is named anywhere on the pages that do load. The site says testing exists and describes it in detail without attributing it: "All third party testing is conducted exclusively by accredited American laboratories. No exceptions, no shortcuts", "HPLC analysis confirms compound identity, concentration and purity on every batch. Testing includes endotoxin screening, sterility verification and more", and says a QR code on any label opens third party lab reports with purity data and full analysis. Which laboratories, and whether any holds an accreditation, is UNVERIFIED. Research-use-only language is present on the pages that load: "For laboratory and in-vitro research use only. Not for human consumption." appears twice on the homepage, and a Research Use Only section states the products "are not approved for human or veterinary use".
Recorded prices, read from the homepage product tiles on 2026-08-23, since the product pages themselves are gated: VLS-3RT shown as "$69.99 - $215.99", VLS-2TRZ shown as "$69.99 - $169.99", SS-31 $49.99, BW-H 30ML $27.99. The homepage also runs a "25% OFF SITEWIDE" banner with the auto-applied code FLASH25 above a "Sale ends in:" countdown. Payment methods are displayed as logos without transacting: Zelle, Venmo, Mastercard, VISA and American Express. Shipping, from https://volterasciences.com/shipping-policy/: "Free Ground Shipping on orders over $250", "Standard Ground Shipping: $15.00", "Two-Day Priority Shipping: $25.00", orders "typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed", United States only with no international shipping, and "Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier acceptance". Refunds, from https://volterasciences.com/refund-returns dated April 26, 2026: "we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been processed" and "all products are non-returnable and non-refundable. We cannot accept returned items under any circumstances." The only exceptions listed are a wrong item, damage on delivery, or a carrier-confirmed lost shipment, resolved by "a replacement, reshipment, or store credit at our discretion", and "Any issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery." That 48-hour window is the shortest published by any vendor I walked today.
CAUTIONCautions noted, observations rather than verdicts. First, the transparency claim and the site's actual behavior do not match. The homepage says full third party lab reports for every batch are available directly on its site, transparent, verifiable and always accessible, while the COA Library link in the site's own navigation serves the registration lock rather than any document. Second, purity is claimed catalog-wide at a figure no reachable document supports: "99%+ Purity" as a hero badge, "99%+ Purity. No Exceptions." as a section heading, and "We Don't Claim Purity. We Prove It." as another, with the proof behind an account wall. The method is named nearby, "Analyzed using HPLC methods", which is better than a bare figure, but the claim still applies to the whole catalog rather than to a lot. Third, "Accredited US lab testing" and "accredited American laboratories" are asserted with no laboratory named and no accreditation body, directory or certificate number given anywhere on the loadable pages, so the word carries no checkable referent. Fourth, an unedited content-management placeholder sits in the storage guidance on the live homepage, quoted exactly: "Lyophilized (powder) form should be stored at or below [your recommended temp, e.g. 4C] and protected from moisture." Fifth, the free-shipping threshold contradicts between two pages: the persistent header banner reads "FREE GROUND SHIPPING On Orders Over $150" while the shipping policy reads "Free Ground Shipping on orders over $250". Sixth, two of the five displayed payment methods, Zelle and Venmo, are peer-to-peer transfer rails that carry no card-network chargeback right for the buyer. I have not verified what the countdown timer displays in a browser; I read the pre-script markup, where the digits are zero placeholders.
