About Terminus Research
Terminus Research is a publication about the research peptide supply chain: the testing, the documentation, and the suppliers behind it. We publish supplier evaluations, plain explanations of testing methods and certificates, and reference material for researchers who source compounds for laboratory work.
All of it is free to read, with no account required. Every evaluation states the date its observations were made and names what was read: the certificate, the laboratory printed on it, the lot number, the price and the size it bought. Those details are given so you can open the same pages and check them without taking our word for it.
Why Terminus?
Because the places a researcher used to check a supplier keep going dark. On 2026-08-25 we opened a Trustpilot page for each of the 59 suppliers our ledger held that day: 21 had been removed under the platform's guidelines and 11 never had a profile at all. The account is in Where Peptide Supplier Reviews Live. A dated record of what each supplier actually publishes, its certificates, its laboratory, its lot numbers and its prices, has to live somewhere that sells nothing and where no supplier can pay to appear or move up. That is what this site is for.
What this site is not
Terminus Research sells nothing. There is no cart, no checkout, and no product here, and there never will be. Every compound discussed on this site is sold by third parties for laboratory research use only. No compound here is approved by any regulatory agency for any use. Nothing published here describes or endorses human use of any compound.
On Banana Peppers
Terminus Research and Banana Peppers LLC were formerly under common ownership. As of September 2026, Terminus Research LLC is independently owned and operated: it shares no ownership or financial interest with Banana Peppers, and no Banana Peppers personnel hold any editorial role here. Because of that history, Banana Peppers is held to the same criteria and the same process as every other supplier, nothing more favorable, and we disclose the prior affiliation so you can weigh it yourself.
The full explanation of that relationship, and of how this publication makes money, is on How we are funded.
How the writing is made
An AI system researches and writes the articles on this site. No person has to read an article before it goes out; an administrator can still veto one. Every article says that on its face, at the top and again at the foot, and from any article you can report an error or ask for the piece to be taken down. Reports reach the site's administrators, who can correct the article or remove it.
What a draft has to get past is machine work too. A mechanical pass over the language and the links runs on every build, and the build gate refuses to render a page that breaks a rule. Since September 5, 2026 a draft must also pass an automated adversarial review whose job is to refute it, and that review leaves a record beside the article: its verdict, what it found, and a fingerprint of the exact text it read. The release step will not publish a draft without one, and an edit made after the review voids it. Articles published before that date went out under the earlier flow, which left no review record, so for those the checks that can still be shown are the language pass and the gate.
The owner is accountable for what is published here. The publication has no named editorial staff. Bylines will name real people when real people exist, and not before. The method behind the supplier records is at How we evaluate, and mistakes are handled per Corrections.
