Cyan: documentation, scored from dated observations. Warm: reader ratings, from approved reviews.

Never merged into one number. Some supplier links here are referral links, marked where they appear, which pay Terminus Research when a reader buys. The same terms are open to every supplier in the ledger, apart from the one exception the referral policy page names, participation changes no score, rank, caution, or coverage decision, and a link is not an endorsement.

American Peptides' current retatrutide 10mg certificate, issued by a lab named Bioviridian, matches the lab's own hosted copy byte for byte, and an invented code on that host returns nothing, yet the quality page titled "Seven layers of testing. Zero guesswork" promises a sterility check on every lot before release while both retatrutide certificates read directly, the 10mg and June 48mg lots, carry exactly five analytical rows each, identity, content, purity, endotoxin and heavy metals, no sixth for sterility, despite Bioviridian separately selling sterility testing as its own priced service. That page's line that "100 percent of lots get a COA" sits against a COA library listing two catalog products, Dihexa and Melanotan-2, with a Safety Data Sheet only and no certificate at all, under the identical "COA Certified" banner their own product pages run, while the retatrutide page's top bullet claims 99.9 percent purity, no method named, against the linked certificate's own 99.83 percent by RP-HPLC. A reader who has asked American Peptides for the sterility data behind layer 05 could say what, if anything, was supplied.

Trustpilot standing

This supplier was not part of the Trustpilot reading of 2026-08-25, which covered 59 of the 126 suppliers on file. That is a fact about this publication's coverage, stated rather than left to be read either way.

Our claims re-read

2 claims from this publication's own dossier on this supplier were read again against the live site on 2026-08-26: 1 held, 1 corrected before publication.

A corrected claim is an error of ours that the re-read caught before it reached a page. This line tracks this publication's own accuracy. It says nothing about the supplier.

Certificates are published from a single library at /pages/coa, organized by compound name with every lot listed underneath, older lots marked "superseded" rather than removed. The page states "52 products, every lot third-party tested" and lists compound headings for named compounds under their real pharmacological names, semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide and roughly 40 others, rather than a GLP-1/GLP-2/GLP-3 code scheme. Two catalog entries, DIHEXA and MELANOTAN-2, carry only a Safety Data Sheet on this library page with no Certificate of Analysis at all, despite the sitewide header banner reading "COA Certified - Every Batch Tested" on every page of the site including those two products' own pages. Retatrutide carries five current lots (10, 20, 30, 48 and 60mg) plus four lots marked superseded. I downloaded the current 10mg certificate, /docs/COA7580.pdf, with curl and read its text layer directly. It is issued by a lab named Bioviridian: web verification code COA7580, sample received August 11 2026, COA issued August 17 2026, vendor American Peptides, sample name Retatrutide 10mg, sample type white lyophilized powder, lot RETA10-0803, molecular weight 4731.2 g/mol. Five analytical rows, each marked Conforms: Identity (Retatrutide, method LC-MS/MS), Content (10.61 mg, HPLC Quantitation), Overall Purity (99.83 percent, RP-HPLC at 214 nm), Endotoxin (less than 0.05 EU/mL, method cited as USP 85), and Heavy Metals (less than 0.01 ppm, method cited as USP 232). The HPLC chromatogram shows a single peak at 11.778 minutes; the mass spectrum shows [M+3H]3+, [M+4H]4+ and [M+5H]5+ charge states. Signed Shane Straight, M.S., Principal Chemist, Bioviridian Inc. I also downloaded and read the 48mg certificate (/docs/COA5633.pdf), an earlier template generation dated June 19 to 25, 2026: same five-row structure, identity confirmed by MALDI-MS rather than LC-MS/MS, content 48.16 mg against a 48mg label, purity 99.9 percent, endotoxin and heavy metals figures identical in format to the 10mg document. On the retatrutide product page itself, the printed Molecular Formula, C256H392N64O79, does not match the molecular weight printed two lines above it (4731.2 g/mol) or the formula printed on every other retatrutide certificate read across this wave and earlier ones (C221H342N46O68 at the same approximate weight), and the product page's own bullet list separately claims a purity of 99.9 percent with no method named in that bullet, while the certificate it links to for the 10mg lot reports 99.83 percent by RP-HPLC at 214 nm.

On lab verifiability. bioviridians.com resolves to a live analytical lab site fetched today, giving a street address, "11134-A Hopes Creek Road, College Station, Texas-77845," and describing itself as "an independent analytical testing laboratory specializing in third-party characterization of synthetic peptides" using LC-MS, MALDI-MS and HPLC. It lists priced services including Peptide Purity Testing ($150/sample), Bacterial Endotoxin Testing by LAL and recombinant Factor C assay ($150/sample), Heavy Metal Analysis by ICP-MS covering 77 elements ($100/sample), and Sterility Testing under USP <71> ($200/sample) as a real, separately offered and priced service. Nothing on its homepage or its COA-search page uses the words accreditation, ISO 17025, A2LA or CLIA. Rather than rely on its client-facing search form, which is JavaScript-driven, I fetched the lab's own document host directly: https://bioviridians.com/coas/COA7580.pdf returned HTTP 200, application/pdf, at exactly 1,181,515 bytes, an exact byte match to the copy served from the vendor's own /docs/COA7580.pdf. I ran the same check against all four other current retatrutide lots on the vendor's product page; three matched exactly (COA7599 at 1,182,684 bytes, COA7619 at 1,111,948 bytes, COA7629 at 1,119,322 bytes, identical on both hosts), while the fourth, the 48mg lot COA5633, differs in size between hosts, 1,796,062 bytes on the lab's own server against 2,204,973 bytes on the vendor's site; I read both copies and found the same sample data, lot, dates, test rows and signature on each, so the size difference reads as a file-generation or recompression artifact rather than a change in the reported findings, though I note it rather than assume it. A control fetch for an invented code, https://bioviridians.com/coas/COA9999999.pdf, returned HTTP 404, so the host is not simply serving any request.

Benchmark and catalog read on 2026-08-26. Retatrutide, titled on-page "RETATRUTIDE (RETA)", SKU RT-10 at the 10mg size, single-vial pricing: $105.00 for one vial, with volume pricing applied automatically at checkout, $97.65 each at 3 to 4 units (a 7 percent reduction), $93.45 each at 5 to 9 units (an 11 percent reduction), $88.20 each at 10 or more units (a 16 percent reduction); a Subscribe and Save option separately offers up to a 15 percent reduction on recurring delivery. The page prints CAS 2381089-83-2 and molecular weight 4731.2 g/mol. Catalog scope: 79 distinct /products/ URLs linked from the homepage, spanning named compounds, blends, dissolving strips, liquid sprays, pre-built research bundles, lab supplies and branded merchandise (hoodie, tank, tee, three hat styles); the COA library separately counts 52 of those as compound products carrying analytical documentation. Shipping, per /pages/refund-shipping-policy and the Terms of Service: orders processed and dispatched in 24 to 48 business hours, carriers UPS and FedEx exclusively, shipping "limited to the continental United States only" (per the Terms, meaning Alaska, Hawaii and US territories are excluded from an otherwise domestic-only footprint), address errors are the buyer's responsibility, damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 72 hours with photographic evidence for a free replacement, and "all sales are final" with no returns, refunds or exchanges outside verified manufacturing defects; orders are non-cancellable once payment has processed. Payment, per the Terms of Service: major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), ACH/wire transfers, and cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT) "through compliant providers." The chargeback clause is unusually specific: a chargeback filed without first giving the vendor 30 business days to investigate is treated as a material breach carrying immediate account termination, collections proceedings with attorneys' fees, a stated $2,500 liquidated-damages fee, and reporting to regulatory authorities. Entity and contact: the Terms of Service name the legal entity as American Peptides LLC throughout, governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana with disputes routed to binding arbitration in Louisiana under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules. The Contact page gives an email, support@americanpeptides.us, and a "Shipping Facility" street address, 9742 St. Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71106, USA; no telephone number is published on the Contact page or elsewhere I fetched. Age and research-use gating: the footer disclaimer on every page states products are RUO, not drugs, foods, cosmetics or supplements, not FDA evaluated, and that "by purchasing, you certify that you are a qualified researcher or institution aged 21 or older."

2026-08-26

CAUTIONCautions noted. First, the site publishes a dedicated /pages/quality-standard page titled "Seven layers of testing. Zero guesswork," stating "Every lot of every compound passes seven independent analytical checkpoints" and naming layer 05 as "Sterility Testing - Microbial - Each lot is tested to confirm the lyophilized product is free of microbial contamination before it is sealed and released." The sitewide header banner repeats "Sterility Verified" on every page. Neither retatrutide certificate I read, the 10mg benchmark lot or the 48mg lot, carries a sterility or microbial test row: both list exactly five analytical rows, Identity, Content, Overall Purity, Endotoxin and Heavy Metals, with no sixth row for sterility despite the lab that issues these documents, Bioviridian, separately offering Sterility Testing under USP <71> as a distinct, priced service. A buyer reading the quality-standard page would reasonably expect a sterility row on the certificate for the lot they are buying; it is not there for either lot documented here. Second, the same quality-standard page states "100 percent of lots get a COA," while the COA library itself lists two catalog products, Dihexa and Melanotan-2, with only a Safety Data Sheet and no Certificate of Analysis, under the same "COA Certified - Every Batch Tested" banner that runs on their own product pages. Third, the retatrutide product page's printed Molecular Formula, C256H392N64O79, does not match the molecular weight on the same page (4731.2 g/mol) or the formula on the certificate it links to and on every other retatrutide certificate read in this wave (C221H342N46O68 at the same approximate weight); the CAS number and molecular weight are correct, so the formula field alone appears to be transcribed from a different compound. Fourth, the product page's own bullet list states a purity of 99.9 percent with no method named, a more favorable and unqualified number than the 99.83 percent by RP-HPLC the linked 10mg Certificate of Analysis actually reports; the page's separate Specifications section and trust badge both use the softer, accurate "greater than or equal to 99 percent" framing, so the inflated figure sits only in the top marketing bullets. Fifth, two named laboratories anchor two different template generations of the same certificate (LC-MS/MS identity on August-dated lots, MALDI-MS identity on June-dated lots) with no explanation on the site of the change, though both are attributed to Bioviridian and both matched the lab's own hosted copies on inspection. Sixth, the 48mg certificate's file size differs between the vendor's copy and the lab's own copy (2,204,973 bytes against 1,796,062 bytes) though the printed data, dates, lot number and signature match on both; recorded as an open, unexplained discrepancy rather than a settled finding either way. Seventh, no telephone number is published anywhere I fetched, only a message-ticket system and the support email; the physical address given is explicitly labelled a shipping facility rather than a registered office.
